ABCDF BASS' 2008 ORCHESTRA COMPETITION

The competition is open
to all bassists age 19 years or older.
The organization is the
same as an orchestra audition.
Two “Charles Labro”
Prizes of 1500€ and 750€ respectively will be awarded.

1st round (double bass alone)

by Sterling: an Allemande OR Courante OR Gigue (1st repeat only) of the
candidate’s choice from one of the 6 cello Suites (Peters Edition no. 238b)

The jury will determine
the order of the pieces.
A pianist will be
provided (rehearsal time will depend on the number of candidates
